BCCI Nominates M.S Dhoni for Padma Bhushan Award

   The Board of Control for Cricket in Indiia (BCCI) has nominated Mahendra Singh Dhoni for the country’s third highest civilian award — the Padma Bhushan  for his contribution to the game.

 A senior BCCI official confirmed that the Board has only sent one name for the Padma awards this year and it was a unanimous decision to nominate India’s most successful captain.

PV Sindhu wins Korea Super Series semi-final

         In Korean Super Series 2017,PV Sindhu continued her impressive run and advanced to the semi-final.On Friday,The Olympic and World Championships silver medallist beat Minatsu Mitani of Japan 21-19,18-21 ,21-10 in the quarter-final in Seoul.

        The Olympic and Worlds silver medallist will next face the winner of Sung Ji-hyun and He Bingjiao.If the Indian wins her semi-final and Nozomi Okuhara wins her semi-final against Akane Yamaguchi,a repeat of World Championships final can happen in Seoul.

Indian Businessman, IPL former chairman and Cricket administrator Lalith Modi says 'Goodbye to Cricket'. Lalit Modi has resigned as the president of the Nagaur District Cricket Association in Rajasthan. He sent a letter to the Cricket administrator.

In the letter he mentioned the reason for his leaving cricket association in the letter that he feels it as the time to give chance to new generations.

BCCI banned Rajasthan cricket association because of Lalith Modi for which Rajasthan didn't host any of the National or International matches.

PV Sindhu’s Training to start as deputy collector

Olympic Silver Medalist PV Sindhu’s training will be start from the august 20th. She has been assigned to Krishna district for her training.

PV Sindhu has submitted her educational, medical and sports certificates to the CCLA.

Monthly pay will be in the Rs 40,000 to Rs 70,000 as like all other deputy collectors. She will receive DA calculated at 22.0008 percent of her basic salary, which amounts to Rs 8,800, and HRA calculated at 12.5 percent, which amounts to Rs 5,000, as she will work in Machilipatnam Krishna District.

Before Jadeja, Shakib Al Hasan of Bangladesh was the number one all-rounder.

Jadeja has 438 points, while his team-mate Ravichandran Ashwin is on third position with 418 points.

International Player from Haryana reportedly found dead on Rail Tracks on Wednesday.

Jyoti Gupta, international hockey player committed suicide on Wednesday night by jumping in front of a train at Rewari railway station.

Gupta, a forward hockey player, had represented the country in the Asian Games and participated in many state and national level tournaments.
