Cargo plane crash kills 37 on Ground

A Turkish cargo plane attempting to land in thick fog crashed in a village near Kyrgyzstan’s main airport on Monday morning at least killed 37 people, most of them villagers who were still in bed. The plane ploughed on for a few hundred meters after going down, battering cars and damaging dozens of houses.

Hyderabad: The manufacture and sale of plastic carry bags below 40 microns was banned by the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation a few months ago, citing environmental conditions. But many shops continue to supply the bags, which are cheaper than the alternatives, right under the nose of the authorities.

Mr Jeetender Patel, a shop owner, said manufacturing companies are still making the thinner bags and distributing them. “We purchase them from the manufacturer and sell them to retailers in bulk," he said.

Hyderabad Police Constable, around 50 people were saved on Monday after a fire broke out in a residential building in Masab Tank area. Constable Bheem Rao, attached to Humayun Nagar Police Station, was on duty in a lane near the building when he was alerted by locals who saw smoke and flames coming out of a flat on the first floor of the five-storey structure.

RBI raises ATM withdrawal limit to Rs 10,000 per day from current Rs 4,500

In a major relief for ATM users, the limits placed on withdrawals and current accounts has been raised with immediate effect as under. The limit on withdrawals from ATMs has been enhanced from the current limit of Rs.4,500 to Rs.10,000 per day per card (It will be operative within the existing overall weekly limit). The limit on withdrawal from current accounts has been enhanced from the current limit of Rs.50,000 per week to Rs.1,00,000 per week .

The Supreme Court has given Green Signal to ‘Abortion’. Court said yes to abortions under certain conditions. The Court made it clear that abortion is legalized if it is done before 24 weeks. Supreme court also said that abortion can be done before the formation of the skull. The Supreme Court has given it's verdict on the petition filed by a 22-year-old lady saying if the medical conditions demand abortion then it can be done under the supervision of doctors on their recommendation.

Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao on Sunday asserted that the state government is keen on developing sheep rearing as a big industry.KTR also attended a review meeting on the Fisheries and Sheep Rearing wings of Animal Husbandry department. The Chief Minister also announced that a Cabinet Sub-Committee under the Chairmanship of Animal Husbandry Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav has been constituted to prepare a comprehensive plan of action on the development of fisheries and sheep rearing.

The mela will have 80 stalls in all, accommodating e-Wallet and m-Wallet services, agricultural seed suppliers, UID, Public Distribution System, Girijan Cooperative Corporation, Handlooms and others. “Apart from spreading literacy, we intend that some transactions should happen on that day.
