The two telugu states ministers met the Governor on Wednesday for discussing issues of bifurcation. Telangana Government was represented by Irrigation Minister T. Harish Rao, Energy Minister Jagadish Reddy and Advisor to TS Government on inter-state affairs G. Vivek, the Andhra Pradesh State was represented by Finance Minister Yanamala Ramakrishnudu, Labour Minister Acham Naidu, and Govt. Chief Whip K. Srinivasulu.

Foundation Stone for the 72 Km ORR would be laid on June 2nd 2017.

Telangana MP Kavitha has responded on the Budget 2017-18. She expressed satisfaction over this budget, by stating that many good things are in the budget. Kavita expressed her dissatisfaction of not allotting AIMS to the state of Telangana. Kavita opined that the employment would increase with the reduction of 25- 30 % taxes to the medium and small scale industries.

Budget 2017-18: These will become costlier

The following will become costlier in this year.

Cars :All cars, including SUVs, to cost more as the Government has imposed a 4 per cent infrastructure cess on petrol, diesel, CNG and LPG-run cars. The small diesel car will have to shell out 2.5 per cent cess.

LED Bulbs:Parts used for manufacture of LED lights will attract basic customs duty of 5 per cent and CVD of 6 per cent.
